Biman Bangladesh’s 2nd Dreamliner arrived in Dhaka
Biman Bangladesh’s 2nd Dreamliner arrived in Dhaka. The 2nd Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft of national flag carrier Biman BangladeshAirlines arrived in Dhaka on Saturday night.
Biman managing director and chief executive officer Mosaddik Ahmed received the aircraft. The new aircraft named ‘Hangshabalaka‘ landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:40pm Saturday, said Biman general manager (Public Relations) Shakil Meraj.
Earlier, the aircraft took off from Penfield Airport in Seattle Boeing Headquarters in USA after Boeing vice-president Jeff Climan officially handed over the key and ownership of the aircraft to Biman authorities.
Captain Smoleski, captain Shoeb, captain Aminur and first officer Anita conducted the flight operation.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines got the first of their ‘Dreamliner’ on 19 August.
The Dreamliner will fly six times in a week on Dhaka-London route, four times on Dhaka-Dammam and three times on Dhaka-Bangkok route.
