A four-day film festival starts from today at Sylhet Agricultural University. Sylhet Agricultural University Film Festival is going to be screened from today to the second Sylhet Film Festival.
The festival started from last year to give inspiration to the creation of independent film. The festival will be inaugurated on 18 March at 11:00 pm at the Shikkha Kendra of Sylhet Agricultural University. The four-day event will be held until March 21
Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) campus in Sylhet on Sunday the four-day film festival will begin at the teacher-student centre.
The festival will feature 97 selected films from 122 countries. Besides, five full-length films will be displayed.
Besides, five full-length films will be featured in the festival. Everyone can enjoy films from 11:00am to 7:00pm every day.
Filmmakers Arshaf Shishir, Muktadir Ibne Salam, and actor Manaj Kumar will be the jury of the festival while eminent film consultant Premendra Mazumdar will be the adviser.
‘Akhi O Tar Bandhura’ by Morshedul Islam will feature on the inaugural day of the festival at 5:00pm.
Sylhet Agricultural University Film Society will organise the festival for the second time to inspire the filmmakers to make quality films.
