Germany out of World Cup 2018 losing to South Korea as Sweden and Mexico go through. Reigning world champions Germany have crashed out of the World Cup 2018 after losing to South Korea while Sweden beat Mexico in the other game in Group F.
Germany vs South Korea had the ingredient to be one of the most entertaining matches of the Fifa World Cup 2018.
For Germany, it was a must-win match to reach the knockout of the tournament. A win for South Korea is also possible for them to qualify provided Sweden lost. So the stakes were high.
Joachim Low’s side, who triumphed four years ago in Brazil and came to Russia as one of the favourites to retain their title, lost 0-2 with Korea in Kazan, knowing they had to better Sweden’s result in Ekaterinburg to qualify for the last 16.
