Results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations-2018 published. The average pass rate across the country is 66.64 percent. This year’s total GPA-5 received 29 thousand 262 people.
Last year, the rate was 68.91 percent.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over a copy of the result of eight general education boards, madrasa and technical education board to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban on Thursday.
Then the chairman of the concerned board handed over the results of their respective board to the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will present detailed information of theresult by giving a press conference at the Secretariat at 1pm.
Immediately after the press conference, the students of the whole country will be able to know their results.
Examinees will get their results from respective examination centres or educational institutions, websites of respective centres and through internet and mobile phones, the Education Ministry sources said.
This year, a total of 13,11,457 examinees from 8,864 educational institutions appeared in the examinations. Of them, 6, 35,697 are male and 5,47,989 female, said officials of the Education Ministry.
A total of 11, 83,686 examinees appeared in the HSC and equivalent examinations last year.
