Government steps for safe roads

The government has taken 11 steps to declare solidarity with the students’ movement for safe roads.
Apart from the demands not given to the students, the government has taken several more steps.
Among the government’s steps, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced to provide 5 buses to Shahid Ramij Uddin Cantonment College.
The steps taken by the government are to ensure that the implementation of the safe road and to prevent accident.
The prime minister announced the appointment of the underpass to the airport road adjacent to Ramij Uddin School, to establish speed-breakers on the adjacent street of every school of the country and to appoint only special traffic police placards for the school.
Government will cancel the route permit of Jabal Noor bus and cancel the road permit of vehicles without fitness.
The Prime Minister directed the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) and Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to take legal action against those who are responsible for death of two students on the airport road and to take action against illegal car driver with no minors and driving licenses.
State Minister of ICT, Junaid Ahmed Palak posted a post on 11 steps of the government on his own verified facebook page.

Two student of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College died and more than 12 were injured when two buses were raided on Sunday (July 29th).
Shahid Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College student Abdul Karim and Dia Khanam Mim were died on the spot. Students have been protesting against the incident for the last few days.
