Free treatment at government hospital on 15th of August.
On August 15, on the occasion of National Mourning Day, free medical care will be provided to all community clinics and government hospitals across the country.
Health Minister Mohammad Nasim directed the health and family welfare ministry preparatory meeting on last Tuesday to mark National Mourning Day in the Secretariat.
On that day, all government hospitals will be provided free medical treatment services and diagnostic tests from 9am to noon 12 in the outdoors.
Apart from this, 24-hour free medical care will be provided in the emergency departments and internal divisions.
Besides, on August 15, the Ministry of Health has decided to present Milad and discussion meeting on the occasion of the National Mourning Day in the country, on behalf of the Health Ministry, in the portrait of Bangabandhu in Dhanmondi and meeting the Milad Mahfil and discussion in the departments.
Secretary of the Department of Health Services Sirajul Haque Khan, Secretary of Health Education and Family Planning Mr. GM Saleh Uddin, Director General of Health Department Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, Director General of Family Planning Department Kazi Mustafa Sarwar and Director General of Nursing and Midwifery Director General Tandra Sikder was also present at the meeting.
