India’s airline company Indigo launching Dhaka-Kolkata flights just 5 thousand taka. It said at a press conference in the capital on Tuesday.
Currently four organizations in Bangladesh conduct flights to Kolkata. They are – Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla, Regent and NovoAir. In addition Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Spice Jet of India conduct flights.

Indigo Airlines starting their new journey.
Indigo Airlines says Indigo flight will leave Dhaka every evening at 07:10 pm. It will reach Calcutta in 50 minutes.
Using this medium you can go to Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.
Ticket can be purchased from their online platform.
Indigo Airlines Chief Strategic Officer William Bolter said the flight will start from August 1.
Dhaka-Kolkata ‘Promotional’ rent will be at 5 thousand and 31 taka for the promotional program. A passenger will have to count the cost of Tk. 7 thousand and 85 for going and return ticket. But the rate of rent may change later.
It is learned that the minimum rental price of State-owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines‘s return ticket for Dhaka-Kolkata route costs Tk 12,000. Private flight service US Bangla Airlines takes 10 thousand and 500, NovoAir 9 thousand 999 taka and Regent Airways is charging Tk 10 thousand.
